- "ONCE UPON A TIME… ONE CHRISTMAS IN SPAIN", December 9, Raleigh, N.C.
EDUC@S International Representative in USA presented for the Wake County Public Schools foreign language teachers, in Raleigh, N.C. "ONCE UPON A TIME… ONE CHRISTMAS IN SPAIN" a presentation where he explained the teachers how Spaniards celebrate Christmas holidays. He spoke about the important days, traditions, Christmas carols, food, presents etc.
Those present also had the opportunity to try some "turrón" and had the feeling of how quick you need to be to eat twelve grapes in twelve seconds with the "Doce campanadas". This was not a problem, because they had some "cava" waiting to clear their throats when they where listening to "Un año más", Mecano´s song. Finally those that had been bad with the students grades get some sweet coal to enjoy in their way home.

Creation of a web site where all the works of the artists involved with EDUC@S will be displayed. This site will be the perfect platform for these young artists. The aim of this project will be to establish links and cooperate with a pre-existing virtual gallery: Pazgallery.com
Creation of a web site for the Program F@ciles to promote the Spanish and Valencian culture and language in order to attract young foreigners to better know Castellón, Salamanca and their surroundings.

- Zebulon Project 2003
Creation of an information point in Zebulon, North Caroline (USA), about Spain and Latino America
- EDUC@S brought to Zebulon Elementary the art work of Gladys Alfaro, Zebulon, Raleigh, NC. April 2003.
Gladys Alfaro is an artist from El Salvador. At the same time EDUC@S also set up at Zebulon a cultural information display consisted on broaches, posters, flags and cultural objects from Spain.
- Reception of "El Pueblo". September 3, 2003
In the reception organized by "El Pueblo" to present "La Fiesta Del Pueblo 2003" at the Exploris (www.exploris.org), The Interactive Museum About the World, in Downtown, Raleigh (Capital of the State of North Caroline) the 9.3.03, EDUC@S prepared one art exhibit of Paz Beltrán oil on canvas creations. "El Pueblo" (www.elpueblo.org) is a state-wide non-profit advocacy and policy organization dedicated to strengthening the Latino community in North Carolina. The goals of the Cultural Program include cross-cultural understanding and appreciation through the enjoyment of Latino arts and culture.
- "La Fiesta del Pueblo 2003", September 6-7, 2003.
EDUC@S organized for the art section of "La Fiesta Del Pueblo 2003", at the Fair State Grounds, Raleigh, on the 6 and 7 of September 2003. The exhibit consisted of Paz Beltrán oil on canvas creations. "La Fiesta del Pueblo" is the largest initiative of El Pueblo's Cultural Program, it welcomed over 60,000 visitants.
EDUC@S organized for the non-profit organization "El Pueblo", a cultural information booth consisted on broaches, posters, flags and cultural items representative of Spain.
EDUC@S organized with Nuria Lopez, Jesus Moran, and Jose I. Sanchez, a cultural food stand. The Stand consisted on a 10 x 10 stand called "El Rincón the España" where the public could try typical dishes from Spain. (Mainly paella, tortilla española and other typical tapas). The stand was also decorated with posters and cultural samples where the organizers wore typical Spanish costumes.
- Exhibition of Paz Beltrán "Caminos Encontrados"-"Paths Cross" in September 2003, for Zebulon Elementary School.
In 2003 EDUC@S brought to Zebulon Elementary School the oil on canvas creations of Paz Beltrán "Paths Cross". Within these works, she reflects how the different paths can connect. Together with the art work of Paz Beltrán, there was also several stands with information about Spain, during the month of September 2003.
- 18th International Festival, Raleigh, November 7-9, 2003.
On November 7th, 8th and 9th, EDUC@S participated in The International Festival at the Raleigh State Fair grounds (www.internationalfestival.com). At the International Festival, EDUC@S organized the Cultural Exhibit for the Spaniards, "La Cueva", where the children were involved in artistic games, drawing and coloring. They also learnt colors, shapes and a bit about art from Spain. In the same booth there was an exhibit with Paz Beltrán oil on canvas paintings.
EDUC@S organized the Cafe for the Spaniards "El Rincón de España", where the public had the opportunity to try "tapas" like: paella valenciana, patatas bravas and tortilla española.
- "FIESTA 2003", Zebulon Elementary, November 13, 2003.
On 13th November EDUC@S, contributed, as part of the cultural activities for the students learning Spanish in Zebulon Elementary (around 100 children took part in the activity), with a donation of Spanish "tapas" in a fiesta organized by the non-profit organization.
- International Festival Paisley Middle School, November 18, Winston-Salen, NC.
On 18th November EDUC@S participated in the International Festival Paisley Middle School, Winston-Salen with their program "El Rincón de España", where the public had the opportunity to try samples of "Tapas" like: Paella Valenciana, patatas bravas and Tortilla Española. With the International Festival EDUC@S helped The Paisley Middle School PTA (Parents and Teachers Association) to raise money for their activities.
